Tangier to Tetouan
A UNESCO medina an hour away, with an Andalusian soul.
Tetouan is about 60 km from Tangier, around an hour by road. Its medina has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997.
The old town is white, compact and less visited than others in Morocco, with strong Andalusian influence in its houses and crafts.
Combine it with a stop on the Mediterranean coast on the way back to make a full day.
