Where to be when the sun drops into the Atlantic.
Cap Spartel is the classic choice: from the lighthouse headland the sun sets straight into the ocean.
Inside the city, the terraces of the Marshan district face the strait and the Spanish coast, and the Kasbah walls give the same view from higher up.
For something quieter, walk the Corniche towards the marina. The light on the white city behind you is as good as the sunset itself.
