The Kasbah and its museum
The highest part of the old city and its former palace.
The Kasbah is the fortified quarter at the top of the medina. Its gates open onto one of the best views of the strait.
The Kasbah Museum is housed in the former sultan's palace, Dar el Makhzen, built around a courtyard and garden.
Give yourself time to wander: this is the quietest and most photogenic part of the old city.
